This black stallion with unbelievable movements is interestingly bred through Lord Loxley-Lauries Crusador xx-Gardestern I-Ferdinand. His sire FS Lord Loxley was a premium stallion, Bundeschampion and Vice World Champion of young dressage horses. This model son of the Grand Prix star Lord Sinclair I was one of the most successful young dressage horses in Germany and now regularly wins dressage classes up to St. Georges. He has also produced numerous top quality youngsters such as the Bundeschampions Laetare and FS La Noir. Laetare is one of twelve licensed FS Lord Loxley sons and FS La Noir was the Rhineland Champion Mare. The dam's sire Lauries Crusador xx sired nearly 50 licensed sons, including the Champion Stallions Londonderry and Lauda and founded a stallion line of his own. 110 State Premium daughters and competition horses such as Lesotho/Ellen Schulten-Baumer, Le Bo/Carola Koppelmann and Le Primeur/Line Wettstein/SUI have made this Celle State Stud sire a trademark stallion of modern day dressage horse breeding.  In 2006 he was the first Thoroughbred stallion to ever receive the Hanoverian Stallion of the Year award.  The granddam Gretel is also the dam of Bravour H (by Bolero), an advanced (S) level dressage horse,  Lola (by Landfürst), an advanced (S) level show jumper, two other medium (M) level show jumpers and a medium (M) level dressage horse. This dam line is also the origin of a large number of licensed stallions, including Garibaldi I and II, Beltain, Brentano I and II, Wolkenstein I, II and III and the Grand Prix dressage horse, Little Big Man. The famous line of the Schumann daughter S 449 is maintained at Max Schulz' breeding farm in Stellenfleth near Freiburg.
